OUR STORY

Pixie’s is a brand of handcrafted wooden jewellery. We combine other materials like metal, semi-precious stones and bio-based crystal resin with wooden material, but wood is always the base. Wooden material is the core of our idea and we like to let the natural beauty of the wood to speak for itself. Quite often the piece of wood with its natural colours, lines and grains dictates the design of the piece.

Each and every piece of our jewellery is handcrafted, carefully hand-polished and each is unique.  Every piece is one-of-a-kind with no two exactly the same because every piece of used wood is different. When you choose Pixie’s jewellery from our catalogue, it is automatically out of stock. That means that you just bought the exact piece shown in the photo and there is no other exactly the same. It’s part of our identity - personal and unique jewellery completely handmade and made to last.

All jewellery is handcrafted from start to finish in our small family workshop in Croatia on the island of Vis. Surrounded by the supreme beauty of nature, we aim to create jewellery that reflects our living environment which can be easily noticed in some of our collections.

Founder of Pixie’s Tomislav Pozaić is originally a graphic designer who has moved from Zagreb to Vis only to discover how much he enjoys creating ideas and design which can be handcrafted into beautiful little pieces of jewellery. A huge amount of effort goes into every single piece to make an idea a finished product - creating an idea, designing, sourcing materials, blending materials, cutting, shaping, forging, handcrafting, polishing, waxing, packaging (...) is just a part of the process your piece of jewellery goes through before it ends as part of your everyday companion.
